GANA: July Guju Mega-Meetup

Man, I would so go to this thing, if I didn't have a prior commitment that weekend. Not only would the food at the first Gujarati Diaspora global meetup be slamming, but I may even meet some other really cool Gujaratis from around the globe doing interesting and good work.

Or, I'd meet a couple thousand reasons to keep pretending I'm from the 42nd State of India... anywhere but Gujarat...

Hmmm... choices...

Damn that sounds fine...also the meet up, and yes, a possible den of torture as well ;-)

"The food...the food....give us the food..."

You're telling me. Who knows what craziness could transpire.:)

if it's anything like banga sammelan, it's kind of like being Paris Hilton for a day: An enormous meat market for the kids*, with the parents off on their own not being overprotective for one weekend out of the year (they're watching cinema and whatnot and too busy to pay attention).

*kids=anyone under 40 who's not really fobby.

Yeah. I think it could very well be just like that. Except there may be more sugar around/available than at a Bangla event - though you all love your sweets too.
